Mass Discrepancy-Acceleration Relation in Einstein Rings

The mass discrepancy between dynamical and baryonic mass is strongly related to gravitational acceleration in spiral and elliptical galaxies. It is called the mass discrepancy-acceleration relation (MDAR). It is interesting to explore the relation in relativistic phenomena like gravitational lensing. We studied 57 Einstein rings of elliptical galaxy lenses from Sloan Lens ACS Survey (SLACS). We found that the MDAR of the 57 Einstein rings agreed well with the result from dynamics but with less scattering.
